Over spring break we spend a good amount of time watching airplanes land at LAX and looking for peacocks in Palos Verdes. One of our favorites things to do when we are in the area is have a picnic and watch the planes fly over us. Seeing the peacocks, we were confused at how some residents hate them, until we saw two of them laying on a roof screeching sporadically. We were lucky to see a male raise his feathers and shake them violently to impress the females.

Even though today is officially Valentine's Day, Isaac and I exchanged gifts early (as we usually do-I get too excited about gift giving.) I got a box of baby succulents (packaged like truffles) and a pair of the world's coolest bullet earrings with my birthstone in the center. I gave him mini Moscow mule shot glasses, a tackle box of candy, Leave it to Beaver season one, and an assortment of baby cacti for our already overgrown balcony garden. We got to celebrate Shabbat with a homemade challah.
Happy Valentine's Day I+T We have finally started the long discussed blog of our trips and other things worth talking about. So far we have created pages for our 2014 summer road trip, Palm Springs, San Francisco and Havasu.
