The wonderful worlds of pinterest, poshmark, and instagram have led me to some amazing products and small businesses. I figure its time for me to start sharing these with you guys! I have decided to start by doing monthly posts where I display my favorite products of the month. This month I will be featuring some organic beauty products, amazing jewelry from poshmark, eco and fashion friendly water bottles from bkr and I'll top it off with a review of a organic meal delivery company, Sun Basket! Hope you enjoy! ![]() Ok! First up is something I have been looking for forever! A gentle, yet effective facial cleanser that is certified organic and vegan! Juice Beauty has a great line of beauty products which includes my all-time favorite cleanser, the Cleansing Milk. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated and not dry like most cleansers. It is packed with essential oils and organic fruit juices. My skin looks much brighter and clearer after a week of use. Juice Beauty's Nutrient Moisturizer is also perfect for me. It is a thick moisturizer (you only need a little) and it leaves your skin feeling moist but not oily. I put a tiny bit on before I go to sleep and my skin feel great in the morning. Plus, when something is designed and endorsed by Gwenyth Paltrow, how can you say no?! I got both of these from Whole Foods, but they are also available online. ![]() Next Up: The bkr water bottle! This water bottle is the answer to my water spilling problems. As a college student (at hilly UCLA) I am always thirsty. As a freshman, I followed the trend of buying a Camelbak water bottle. Sadly, it broke and spilled over and over again. I decide I wanted a glass water bottle that didn't leak and also didn't make me look like I was on a hiking trip. While perusing instagram I found the bkr bottle and after sizing it up on their website, I decided to give it a try. I bought four, (#TreatYoSelf) two for me and two for Isaac, in the 250ml and 500ml sizes. Even though they are more pricey than the camelbak bottle, I do not regret my purchase one bit. I have had these for over a month now and not only is my bkr 100% leak proof, but I have dropped it twice and even though it is glass, it is protected by silicone so there was no damage! I get compliments on it all the time and this sounds silly, but its minimal design and cool colors go with any outfit! Isaac loves them too and notices the water tastes so much better in a glass bottle. Five stars across the board! ![]() Alright, now for the fun part, the food! I love love love cooking so an organic, responsibly sourced meal delivery service is what I've always dreamed of. I won a contest and got to try 4 Sun Basket meals and boy was I surprised at how fast and easy each meal was to prep and they also tasted Ah-Mazing! Huevos rancheros, seared wild caught salmon, steak fajitas, and chia breakfast pudding were all on the menu. The ingredients are extremely fresh, organic, and delicious. I got to try things I've never had before and even learned some cooking skills! Everyone should try this out while they have a free trial! Its worth $70 and includes three meals. If you decide to continue, it is $11.49 per meal per person which is way cheaper than eating in a fancy organic restaurant. And if you're like me, you prefer eating at home in cozy clothes haha.
